What's up...

Sorry for not having posted in a while... I'm neck deep in research. Here are a few things:
- Apparently, after a trip to the UC Berkeley Eye Center, I need to wear glasses now... especially when reading subtitles in movies and while driving (I'm nearsighted and have a slight astigmatism).
- If anyone out there knows of any record labels that are still using CD-based DRM, I'd like to know (in the US or not).
- In musical news...
- We recently saw the Eagles of Death Metal at Slim's in SF and it was easily the best San Francisco show I've ever seen. I've never seen that many excited people in San Francisco (shows are usually non-dancy and non-exciting). And, believe it or not Michelle and I saw Spike from Buffy there (actor James Marsters... who laughs like screech).
- We went to see Nine Inch Nails, Bauhaus and Peaches at Shoreline... boy does Shoreline suck. We missed Peaches... which was a big part of why we wanted to go. However, Peaches came out and sang Dark Entries with Bauhaus. That was cool.
- We're very excited to see Sonic Youth tomorrow at the Fillmore and then Peaches headlining with Eagles of Death Metal opening in early August at the Fillmore!
