If newspapers are the "first draft" of history, blogs and other forms of citizen journalism are history's note pad -- rapidly scribbled, rapidly scanned and rapidly revised. It is a quintessentially democratic process and very much in the spirit of the journalism's highest traditions, even if it annoys grumbling mossbacks like Coursey.
