A strange circle of connection...

So frequently, I see connections I make come full circle in weird ways... here's a story of finding a picture of a cute kitty for my business card and the social network connections along the way.

The image at left is a cute kitty, no? The first place I saw this image was on the archives page for Jason Forrest's breakcore show Advancded D&D with Donna Summer. I wanted to use this image on my business cards, because I thought it was a neat expression outside of being a cute kitty: this kitty's only mission in life at this moment is to pounce on something (probably an insect). Anyway, serendipitously, Jason Forrest happens to be friends with good friends of mine, Ripley and Kid K (who played a pretty killer couple of sets last night at Kingman's Lucky Lounge).

Anyway, I tried to use Google images to find a higher-resolution version of this kitty image by searching for "cute-kitty.jpg". Turns out that the only other copy I could find (at the same resolution nonetheless) was on a web page of a former SIMS student, Calvin, that I never knew too well. So, either he listens to Jason Forrest's breakcore show and found the image cool enough to save a copy or Jason took the image from Calvin and decided to use it on his archives page. So, here's the finished result...
