Easter in San Francisco: Creeping Jesus Pub Crawl!
For those looking for an alternative way to celebrate easter...
Who do I have to heal to get a drink around here?
After the Hunky Jesus contest in Dolores Park, come join us for a Creeping Jesus costumed pub crawl and heal-a-thon. Brush up on your miracles (watch me turn beer into water!), dig up that cross and show up in your best Jesus outfit to have a drink. Easter's your big day, after all -- why not relax and enjoy it?
We'll meet up in Dolores park around 5pm after the Sisters' Hunky Jesus contest*, then drag our crosses over to the 500 Club (Guerrero at 17th st) around 5:30pm. We'll wait for any latecomers and play 'What Would Jesus Drink?' there. Once a critical mass of Jesii is reached we'll embark on a holy mission through the Mission to secure more sacramental wine and possibly some maculate conceptions on the side. If you show up late, look for the trail of communion wafers and healed lepers left behind.
Costumes mandatory! Some crosses will be available but please BYOC. Pogo sticks, M&Ms, frankincense and myrrh optional.
If you're sober when it's over, it'll be a miracle!
