Mis-use of government databases... if only they had access to TIA

(via Declan) Remember TIA? Remember that it was a gigantically vast system of databases, all populated in real-time with the smallest iota of a transactional information? Remember the arguments about how "safe" something like this system would have been and respectful of personal privacy? Well, get your chuckle on and look at this. Exactly what we'll see more of if we have governmental control over such large, connected sets of data: the value of this system will not go unignored by others with ulterior motives.
