Album of the week: Greaseball Melodrama

I'm starting a new feature here... Album of the week. This week, it's a very interesting one... the "Greaseball Melodrama" compilation from Gearhead Records (eMusic link). Mike LaVella of Gearhead got Eric from the New Bomb Turks to make a compilation of unsigned bands. The CD retails for about $6.98 in an effort to get the widest possible exposure for these bands. Here's an mp3 sample from my favorite track (so far) by the Diverters called "Your Chains".
