BBC: US sees growth in CD sales market
US CD sales rose by 2.3% in 2004 - the first rise in four years - despite the growing popularity of legal digital music downloads.
Wow. Is filesharing contributing to this rise in sales? Are the lawsuits, etc.?

Word... my girlfriend just got a mini and it is sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. Unfortunately, as a matter of principle, I won't get one until Apple allows a bit more competition as to jukebox mp3 players that work on the Mac (w or w/o iTunes support) and as to iTunes Music Store tracks being played on other devices.
